| SIZZLERS The Corporate office of Sizzler has recently sent out a memo to their stores saying they will no longer be using the Edlund can openers with a blade. The restaurant are tired of the “lift, slam, puncture and rip” can-opening techniques that have been overstressing the elbow for 100 years. A Nemco rep took the opportunity to introduce the CanPRO and with little hesitation and great excitement from this particular franchisee, they switched the specification to CanPRO. It is evident throughout the country that inspectors are getting more strict with their reports and can openers are one of the top violations in any kitchen.
